just a quick one

Hello friends!
I am sorry that I have been a bit absent of late, We have had several problems with our computer, and after having our internet go down (The risks of router-hacking) a few weeks ago, our computer developed a somewhat fatal crash issue, and it finally gave up the ghost and failed beyond recognition to boot up.
ALL our photos of Naomi were on that computer and I will be gutted if we lost them all. Every photo from birth to present were on there.

We took the computer to the repair shop where they are trying their hardest to recover the data for us and hopefully we shall have our photos back within the next week!

Also, We’ve been rather busy with the wedding planning and our move! We have indeed found a lovely 3 bedroom house, not far away from where we are now, and still within reach from alan’s work and Naomi’s baby group and all her friends.
Finally we will have a garden and a “spare” room (hopefully becoming a nursery before too long)

I am very looking forward to it and as soon as we move in, I will get the internet sorted and then will update more often.

Other news, My M.E (CFS/PVFS) has flared up again and despite all my hard efforts, the doctors are still completely unwilling to do anything other than shove me on yet more anti-depressants and never actually get around to sorting anything out for me. To say that I am unhappy is a gross understatement and it’s starting to seriously affect my sleep. Last night, I didn’t sleep for a single minute and due to Naomi getting up at 2:30am, I am sat here now, bleary eyed, exhausted and feeling as if I will fall asleep without further notice!

So, Only a week to go until I am married and a Cliche as the “nagging wife” (James’ words, not mine!)
Although, if I’m totally honest, I am really looking forward to it! I can’t wait until I become “Mrs Dartnall” and can escape the grasps of my family name-curse! It will honestly be the best day of my life (other than the birth of Naomi) The rehearsal today was fun, with Alan pulling faces at me the whole way through! I can only hope that he does not give a repeat performance next week as I will more than likely be pee-ing myself laughing and will not be able to say my vows!! at least it will be an entertaining afternoon to say the least!

For now though, I shall have to say farewell as I am using The Mother-in-law’s computer and don’t have the space and time to concentrate on one of my more in-depth musings.

I am also planning to finish chapter one of my novel pretty soon.. it is still very much a work in progress and it is a bit difficult to try and find the time to write at the moment. Will be up soon though! Promise!
